Plant Leadership During Transformation
Situation
A production site is undergoing significant change involving restructuring, new technology, capacity changes or a broader operational transformation.
The existing management organisation does not have sufficient capacity or experience to lead the transition while maintaining daily operations.
Assignment
An Interim Plant Manager or Operations Transformation Leader is appointed to take responsibility for the transformation while ensuring continued operational performance.
The assignment combines day-to-day leadership with implementation of the agreed change programme, including organisational changes, performance initiatives and communication across the site.
Typical impact
The company gains experienced leadership during a critical transition period while the permanent organisation can remain focused on maintaining business continuity.
